Does Inner Light Counseling take insurance?

I am considered an out-of-network provider. Most insurance plans have out-of-network benefits for mental health services and offer reimbursement for a percentage of each session or of a certain number of sessions. To be sure, it’s recommended you call your insurance company to see what your coverage is.

What is a superbill and how does the process work?

A superbill is an itemized receipt and document that details the list of therapy sessions you have attended and paid for. This document allows you to submit a claim to your insurance company to be reimbursed for these services directly.

What is the cost of each session?

Consultation: Free 15-minute meeting via phone.

Individual Counseling: $165 for 50-minute telehealth session.

How often will I need counseling sessions?

The frequency of sessions vary based on each individual’s circumstances, goals, and treatment. Examples include:

  • sessions twice a week (temporary when added support is needed)

  • weekly sessions (most common)

  • bi-weekly sessions (also, common)

  • monthly sessions (for maintenance)

What is Inner Light Counseling’s cancellation policy?

Cancellations and re-scheduled sessions made in less than 24 hours will be subject to a fee of $75.*

*Circumstances will be considered on an individual basis.
